Embracing Authenticity
About Adrienne
Like most of us, I am a person of many facets. I grew up in the age of being over-involved in school activities--- multiple sports, two instruments, AP classes, and on-and on. My love of sports and health swayed me to continue in school to get my doctorate in exercise science, all the while nursing an obsession for literature on the side. I teach and coach about health, yet also bake cakes as a passion. I’ve come to believe that we are all mini-paradoxes like these. When we try to put ourselves in boxes, we miss out on the full spectrum of who God made us to be. I have been a daughter, mother, sister, college professor, coach, clinical researcher, church leader, and author. However, we are not defined by these roles, as the one that matters most is Child of God. He has taught me to see him in all the details, joys, hardships and contradictions of life. I pray that you too will see him in all the multiple ways he made you.

Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with all your might--
